That is the point,

Ubuntu hardy seems not to have this module precompiled. And I was not able to find any package related to the module itself. I only found the setpwc tool, which is important, but just after the module is loaded successfully.

Any ideas?

Best regards,

Igor

2008/5/27 Werner Hartnagel <info@dotmagic.de>:

Hi all,

I've been strugling with this for quite sometime. I have a Logitech Orbit Cam but I am not able to compile the pwc module. Below is the error I'm getting:

krishna@krishna-pc:~/Downloads/pwc-10.0.12-rc1$ make
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.24-16-generic/build SUBDIRS=/home/krishna/Downloads/pwc-10.0.12-rc1 modules
...

Does someone know how to solve this? There are much more errors than this but I believe this is the most important part.
You missing the Kernel Headers in /usr/src/linux
But why not just use the pwc module provided from the Kernel?
